District heating connection for a large property

A DISTRICT HEATING CONNECTION FOR A LARGE PROPERTY INCLUDES

• Construction of the district heating pipeline up to the customer’s heat distribution room
• A metering unit, including a meter, a dirt separator and shut-off valves
• 50–120 metres of connection pipework on the customer’s property, depending on the size of the connection; any volume exceeding the allocated quota will be charged as an additional cost. The unit price for the connection fee is then determined according to the contracted water flow rate.
• If necessary, covering the external wall penetration point with a metal protective box

The client is responsible for:

• Arranging for the design of a water-circulating heating system
• Procuring the heat exchanger
• The cost of any pipework exceeding the amount included in the connection fee. The unit price of the pipework fee is determined by the agreed water flow rate.
• Costs of finishing works on the trench, such as asphalting or turfing, on the part of the connection point belonging to the customer’s plot
• Costs arising from, for example, drilling under a road, an unfavourable location or construction during winter
